Congratulations, CHS Class of 2025!
As graduation approaches, we’re excited to celebrate this important milestone with you and your families. This page includes all the key details you’ll need to prepare for a succesful and memorable graduation.

Graduation Ceremony
Wednesday, June 11th, 2025
7:00PM (Doors open at 6:00PM.)
Graduates should arrive by then.

Graduation Rehearsal
Wednesday, June 11th, 2025
10:00AM - Graduates should meet at the CHS softball field at 9:15AM for a group photo.

  • Rehearsal is at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, but graduates should meet at the CHS softball field at 9:15AM. We will provide transportation to rehearsal. You must ride the CHS bus to rehearsal. Graduates will return to CHS by 1:00PM at the latest.
  • Rehearsal is mandatory! If you do not attend rehearsal, you cannot walk in the ceremony.
  • Please bring your cap and gown.
  • Bring your yearbook! Rehearsal is agreat opportunity for signatures.

Additional Information

  • Each graduate will receive 10 tickets. If your family requires more tickets (extra tickets are not guarenteed), or if yo udo not need all 10 tickets, please let us know. Seniors will receive their tickets at the graduation rehearsal.

  • Please return any Chromebooks and textbooks that you have by your last day of school, June 6thThe office is open and ready to accept them. We will need the textbooks for classes next year. You will also need to be ready to pay any/all outstanding fees by that day. You will not receive your diploma until this is done.
  • If you have not yet ordered your cap and gown, you will need to do so as soon as possible to ensure it is delivered in time for the ceremony. Visit the Jostens website or call our representative Brian Coushay at 503-255-7120. If your family is experience financial difficulties, our Talons to Tassels program might e for you! Email Adriann Hardin at adriann_hardin@csd28j.org for details.
  • Please be advised: Parking at Veterans Memorial Coliseum can often be expensive. We recommend carpooling. If needed, the Blue Max Line stops at the Rose Quarter Transit Center which is a short walk to the Memorial Coliseum.
  • Graduates will not be allowed to carry their cell phones or purses/bags with them during the ceremony. All they need is their cap and gown. Please advise your graduate to leave their personal items with an attending friend/family member.
  • Graduates will receive their diplopa cover when they walk. They will receive their diplomas directly after the ceremony.
  • Graduates will receive their awards and special regalia (honor cords, etc.) during Senior Awards Night on June 3rd at 6:00PM in the auditorium. If they are unable to attend, they can by the main office or collect their items at the graduation rehearsal.
